Our nurses are dedicated to their work and have an average of 18 years of experience in surgical settings. They possess an extraordinary combination of professionalism, competence, compassion, and kindness, and are all ACLS and BCLS certified.
The Outpatient Surgery Center of Hilton Head is fully accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO), which gives its Gold Seal of Approval to those facilities which meet its highest standards for quality in patient safety and care. We are also certified by the Center for Medicare/Medicaid Services (CMS) to provide care for its members and are duly licensed by the SC Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC) as an ambulatory surgical facility. We have also been recognized by the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy for promoting quality in endoscopy. We are members of both the Ambulatory Surgery Center Asssociation and the South Carolina Ambulatory Surgery Center Association.
